Nairn’s greatest asset is its marvellous sandy beach and makes for the perfect family holiday: sand castles, promenade walks, putting green, leisure park and a swimming pool – all set against the backdrop of the Moray Firth with its wonderful views and a chance to see the famous Moray Firth dolphins.

Nairn is the perfect base for exploring the Scottish Highlands and is close to Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Inverness, Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness. It is well connected by bus, train and air. If you enjoy outdoor activities check out walking in Nairn and Forres, the Dava Way or perhaps off-road cycling. There are options for fishing on the River Nairn or Findhorn – and bird watching at nearby Culbin Forest.
